Have you tried meditation only to get frustrated because you can't "empty your mind"? Have you tried positive affirmations for your health but did not experience any concrete results?

Inner Nourishing Qigong Meditation is an accessible and highly effective meditation process that can improve your overall health and well-being. Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is an ancient Chinese system of health cultivation. Utilizing breath and simple positive statements, Inner Nourishing Qigong Meditation gives your mind something to do during meditation, while the breath anchors the affirmations into your body.

This step-by-step course leads you through the process, providing basic and intermediate meditations that are relaxing and easy to practice. One of the most popular forms of meditation in China, Inner Nourishing Qigong Meditation is sure to also become one of your favorites!

As someone who has struggled with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, I have studied many different holistic methods for health and healing. Some worked well and some not so well, but I did not find one magic bullet or "cure-all." Rather, through trial and error I have found relief through mindful exercise, stress reduction, and contemplative spiritual practice. Traditional Chinese Medicine has been extremely helpful, along with related healing practices.

Because mainstream medicine did not have an answer to my health issues, I've pursued an eclectic education in alternative healing arts and self-help disciplines. I am a certified yoga teacher and registered as an RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance. I am also a certified Long White Cloud Qigong Level 1 Instructor (a 200 hour program in the Chinese art of qigong, sometimes called "Taoist Yoga"). Additionally, I received life coach training through Coachville and the Life on Purpose Institute.

On the yoga front, my focus is on therapeutic yoga as a method of healing and supporting people with chronic health issues and injuries. Qigong makes a nice compliment to the yoga, as most publicly available practices are safe and extremely easy to do. I am also interested in the intersection of East and West, such as Christian yoga and meditation.

My hobbies include sewing, knitting, crochet, beading and playing the guitar. I also spent years doing comedy improv, but don't confuse me with a stand-up - I'm a good straight man but I'm not a giver of punchlines!
